Golfers will tell you it isn`t so.
That doesn`t stop them from lining up at the Diversey Driving Range from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week to hit golf ball after golf ball after golf ball.
Al Josephs, a day manager at the range, says on a good day anywhere from 600 to 1,000 golfers will pay $2.50 each to hit a bucket of balls off a stationary tee up into the wild blue yonder–or a few yards in front of them anyway.
