How quaint it was to open my paper and discover the ”new parks boss”
was being given the silent treatment from his subordinates. I read and hear about the ”gestapo” tactics used in this matter, CTA employees who are afraid to deviate from an assigned route to attempt to save a life, ambulances that don`t work, police on the take and entire floors of public housing being kept vacant because of gangs. All this from a city with almost twice the high school dropout rate as the rest of the nation! As the vehicle slogan says: ”You asked for it–you got it!” My question is: Why do you want a cesspool?
