Volume Services Inc., a subsidiary of Canteen Corp., said Barry H. Freilicher was elected president. Freilicher, who has been with Canteen since 1977, was eastern division vice president in charge of food service concession accounts from Kansas City, Mo., to the East coast. Chicago-based Canteen Corp., which recently merged with Interstate United, is a subsidiary of TransWorld Corp. Last year, TransWorld acquired Interstate United, Volume Services` parent.
