ABC blows off another failed pilot with ”Rowdies” (8 p.m. Friday on ABC-Ch. 7). It stars Pat Harrington as the owner of a home security company who realizes his business will be closed unless pressure is lifted by the city, bank and police departments.
When it isn`t and it looks as if his company will go bankrupt, he unveils a secret weapon–an instrument that he uses to break up the largest burglary ring in the West.
Of course, the police are impressed and, of course, he becomes a hero, and, of course, you can probably guess if his company will be saved.
But, look at it this way–at least it`s not another rerun.
