Alfred Borcover`s July 27 Travel section article on the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village failed to mention Ford`s virulent hatred of the Jews until it stopped after they boycotted his product. Why you writers ignore the rottenness of these ”famous” people and tell us only of how ”noble” they are is beyond me.

I was impressed with the article on ”The Ford legacy” in the July 27 Travel section. It summarized one of Michigan`s greatest tourist attractions and brought back a lot of fond memories of the early days for many.

The Elmore Leonard article in the same section was great. It`s refreshing to see a positive Detroit. Michigan truly is the beneficiary of a community that is more than the birthplace of the automobile industry.
