A machinists union on strike since Aug. 1 at Caterpillar Inc.`s Joliet parts plant said company negotiators ”stormed out” of bargaining talks Friday after refusing to budge on their demands in the five-minute meeting. It marked the first session since union members rejected the company`s latest contract offer last Sunday. No talks are scheduled.
