The Soviet Union pledged to cut oil exports by 100,000 barrels a day, Iran`s oil minister said, but analysts dismissed the promise as little more than a symbolic gesture. Iranian Oil Minister Gholamreza Aghazadeh reported the Soviet commitment after returning from a visit to Moscow.
