Owens-Corning Fiberglas Corp. rejected as inadequate Wickes Cos. Inc.`s unsolicited tender offer of $74 a share, or about $2.1 billion. Toledo-based Owens-Corning said it will explore alternatives to the Wickes offer such as a recapitalization, a leveraged buyout led by senior management, or a merger or other business combination with a third company.
