Services will be private for Bernard Seifer, 81, a retired Chicago Heights businessman. Mr. Seifer died Wednesday in Big Rapids, Mich., where he lived since 1950. Until then, he was an executive in the family business, Diamond Wire and Cable Co. in Chicago Heights. Survivors include his wife, Ermine; two sons, David and Robert; a daughter, Neila; a sister; and a brother.
