Commonwealth Edison`s recent ad campaign seems to be having a reverse effect. I suppose it was designed to make everyone feel better about the company, showing what a ”bargain” electricity is.

But every time I see one of those commercials I see red, and I know I`m not alone. Why does it feel it has to advertise? If we don`t like the service of this company, can we go to another one, a competitor? Who pays for these commercials? As the old saying goes, they`ve got us . . .
