More than 200 East Chicago, Ind., residents who had been evacuated last week were allowed to return to their homes Saturday, according to Fire Chief Howard Vanselow. The residents had been evacuated after a nearby 3-million-gallon gasoline storage tank began leaking, sending fumes through nine blocks of the neighborhood.
