Lloyd Reuss, executive vice president-North American automotive operations for General Motors Corp., said the automaker`s 2.9 percent financing program has been so successful that GM is running out of its A-body midsize cars, the Chevrolet Celebrity, Buick Century and Oldsmobile Ciera, and its J-body subcompact Chevrolet Cavalier. He said GM would decide within two weeks whether to boost production of the cars.
