Mass for Clara Chmielewski, 88, a retired clerk for the Chicago Board of Election Commissioners, will be said at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph Catholic Church, 17953 Dixie Hwy., Homewood. Mrs. Chmielewski died Sunday in a Homewood health-care center. A lifelong resident of the West Pullman and Beverly areas, she had retired from the elections board in 1977. Survivors include a son, Vernon; a daughter, Gladys Bierzychudek; seven grandchildren;
and two great-grandchildren.
