A sign of troubled times on Addison Street: A diehard Chicago Cub fan was overheard refusing a trade of his recently acquired Prince Charles`

autograph in exchange for an official National League baseball bearing the autographs of the entire Cub team.

Apparently, it proves that–in these traumatic times–the signature of a four-goal polo player is more highly prized than those of a group of anemic batsmen, errant fielders and inept pitchers who tread the greensward at Wrigley Field this season.
