Mass for John N. Freiman, 89, of Palatine, was said Friday in St. Thomas of Villanova Catholic Church, 1152 E. Anderson Dr., Palatine. He died Tuesday in Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights. Mr. Freiman was a manager for the Illinois Tool Co. before his retirement. He served in the Army`s 1st Infantry Division during World War I. He is survived by his wife, Loretta; 2 daughters, Loretta Finlay and Margaret ”Peg” Maroney; 15 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers; and 4 sisters.
