Jenny Larson, Plainfield–The junior won the Olympic Division at the Tinley Park Invitational, running two miles in 13:21.

Scott Laumann, Rich South–The junior won the Olympic Division at the Tinley Park Invitational, running 3 miles in 15:53.

FIELD HOCKEY

Danielle Jaske, Deerfield–The senior had three goals in a victory over Homewood-Flossmoor.

GOLF

Joele Ladone, St. Francis–She tied for first in the Naperville North Invitational, shooting 82 for 18 holes at the Woodridge Golf Course.

FOOTBALL

Dwight Driver, Rich South–He ran for 156 yards on 20 carries and scored two touchdowns in the Stars` 29-21 victory over Hillcrest.

Steve Henriksen, Immaculate Conception–He ran for 193 yards and five touchdowns on 22 carries in a 39-12 victory over Momence.

Jack Schomig, Wheaton North–He ran for 145 yards and three touchdowns in a 20-6 victory over Wheaton Central.

Larry Sullivan, Elgin–The senior kicked a state-record 56-yard field goal with 10 seconds left Saturday to beat West Aurora 36-35.

SOCCER

Tom Stankus, Fenwick–The senior had nine goals and three assists in three victories.

SWIMMING

Deanna Conoscenti, Rolling Meadows–She won two events and swam on a winning relay as Rolling Meadows won the Downers Grove North Invitational.

Sandy Herman, Andrew–The sophomore won two events and swam on a winning relay at the Andrew Invitational, all in record time. She was named most valuable swimmer of the meet.

Jodi Quas, Homewood-Flossmoor–She won two events and swam on a winning relay as her team took second at the Evergreen Park Invitational.

TENNIS

Jamie Henikoff, New Trier–She beat Oak Park`s Stacey Berg 7-6, 6-1 to win the first singles crown at the Prospect Invitational and help lead her team to the title.

VOLLEYBALL

Patty Mitchell, Sacred Heart of Mary–The senior was 53-for-53 serving with 7 aces and was 60-of-65 spiking with 28 kills as her team won five matches last week.

Tricia Tadin, Mother McAuley–The senior had 10 kills and 15 blocks to lead the top-ranked Mighty Macs to a 15-17, 15-7, 15-7 victory over No. 2 Richards Saturday in the championship of the Rich East tournament.
