The recent pejorative remarks about the educational aptitude of blacks, Puerto Ricans and Mexicans in the United States by the prime minister of Japan, Mr. Nakasone, should be met with a famous solution offered by the late Mayor Daley: ”Don`t get mad; get even.” Blacks and other minority groups should show the honorable prime minister just how dumb we really are.
We should stop buying high-quality, low-cost merchandise from Japan. The Japanese could not possible make up the deficit from their friends in South Africa, a country in which (for economic reasons) the Japanese are classified as ”honorary white.”
