Senior Joe Molnar scored on the first play Saturday, returning the kickoff for 101 yards, to help Alma to a 16-10 nonconference triumph over St. Francis (2-1).
Alma even its record at 2-2 while St. Francis suffered its first loss in three outings.
St. Francis tied the score with 12:04 left in the first quarter when Victor Pierchalski scored on a 1-yard run. The Saints then got a 47-yard field goal by Mike Kujawa to go ahead 10-7 early in the second quarter.
The Scots (2-2) took the lead on Burt Jordan`s 4-yard run in the third period. They added a third-quarter safety.
