The Tribune reported after the Bears-Oilers game that the Bear fans took the intrusion of summit news well. I`m not even that rabid a Bear fan and I was foaming at the mouth at the stupidity of CBS. At least when NBC chose to show ”Heidi” instead of the end of the Jets-Raiders game, it avoided disappointing some while displeasing others. I can`t imagine anyone being disappointed by not getting the summit ”news” live.
