Average yields on seven-year Treasury securities fell in Tuesday`s government auctions to 7.2 percent, the lowest in a decade. The Treasury Department sold $7 billion of the 6-year, 11-month notes. The average yield was down from the 7.33 percent average yield at the last auction for the long- term security June 25.
