Graveside services for Dorothea Julia Sheley, 87, a former Maywood resident, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in Oakridge Cemetery, Hillside. Mrs. Sheley, of Mt. Vernon, Ia., died Tuesday in a nursing home in Mt. Vernon. Mrs. Sheley was born in Maywood and lived there until 1966 when she moved to Iowa. During World War II she was a Gray Lady volunteer at Vaughan General Hospital in Maywood. Survivors include a son, John; a daughter, Mary Gunn;
three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
