I look forward to your Travel Section each week and greedily consume all your helpful articles and dream of places to visit. I`ve never written to thank you, just have taken it all for granted.
But on Nov. 9 I was moved by the best article yet. I had my whole family read it and they all agreed with me.
A thank you to Robert Sullivan (see editor`s note) and his sharing of
”The old man and the tour: Solitary travelers become fleeting family.” It is so easy to get caught up with one`s own family on a trip and miss out on the best part of a journey, the people.
We also appreciate the work of Robert O`Sullivan, whose byline was
”computer glitched” (misspelled). You`ll be reading more from the sensitive and talented writer, such as the story on page 6.
