The self- righteous probing we`ll see in upcoming weeks seems a bit too ingenuous to swallow: Our slow-witted President articulates a feel-good, macho-man image of America abroad, his administration executes his stand-tall foreign policy with transfers of costly tools of death and now the American public
”discovers” our complicty with terrorists and foreign agents of destruction.
Weapons manufacturers, marketers and distributors have done a bang-up job of replacing intelligence, goodwill and coherence of vision as the forces guiding our foreign policy.
Perhaps now we will see the end of ”covert” operations which defy common sense and circumvent the safeguards of democracy.
