After reading the editorial titled ”Reykjavik on the lake,” I felt it my duty as a Chicagoan to respond.
Chicago is a superb place for President Reagan and Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev to hold their second summit. We possess a beautiful lakeshore, many spacious hotels and numerous peaceful people.
We should be honored that President Reagan might choose Chicago out of thousands of other cities in our country as a possible location for the second summit. We should do all we can to help the summit meetings become a success.
