1986 season–Recovered a fumble on the overtime kickoff that led to the winning field goal in the 13-10 win over Philadelphia. Recorded his second interception vs. the Bucs (11-9) and also had 3 solos and 2 assists.
Collegiate, personal–First team All-Pac 10 as a senior, when he was one of four Husky co-captains, and second team as a junior. . . . Played in Hula Bowl. . . . Career-high 54 tackles in 1985. . . . Had 13 career interceptions to put him third in school history. . . . Returned an interception 66 yards for a TD vs. Arizona in `84. . . . Led team in fumble recoveries in his final three seasons. . . . Also a standout in basketball and track.
