Services for Robert R. Hanes, 71, retired McKinley Park tool and die machinist, will be private. Mr. Hanes, who also had lived for many years in the Bridgeport neighborhood, died Sunday in Central Community Hospital. Survivors include two sons, David and Frank, a Tribune photographer; two daughters, Sharon York and Nora; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
