Profits of Boulevard Bancorp Inc. jumped nearly 50 percent in the fourth quarter, to $3 million, or 44 cents a share, from $2 million, or 34 cents a share, a year earlier. For the year, the parent of Boulevard Bank and First National Bank of Des Plaines said net income increased 44.6 percent, to a record $11.5 million, or $1.82 share, from $8 million, or $1.44 a share, a year earlier.
