The deadline for American Motors Corp. and Chrysler Corp. to reach an agreement for AMC to build Chrysler cars in Kenosha, Wis., is down to ”a matter of weeks and the clock is ticking,” said Chrysler Motors Corp. Chairman Gerald Greenwald. He said if AMC and its union linger too long, Chrysler could switch to other small-car suppliers, including a car built in Thailand.
