I don`t believe that we should accept the raise and five- year freeze that Commonwealth Edison is trying to force on us. The five-year freeze I`m willing to accept, but let the rates stay where they are. I can`t understand why some politicians, including the governor, are advocating that we accept both the raise and the freeze.
It`s time that the ICC starts looking out for the welfare of the consumers instead of the utilities.
