W.R. Grace & Co. completed the sale of its Bermans The Leather Experts stores to a management group led by chain president Lyle Berman for about $99.3 million. In the leveraged buyout, Grace, which has been selling its retail businesses, also received warrants to purchase up to a 47.5 percent interest in the new company. The Minneapolis-based chain operates 167 stores.
