Nine years after both of their series were canceled, Lee Majors and Lindsay Wagner repeat their roles as bionic superheroes in ”The Return of the $6 Million Man and the Bionic Woman” (8 p.m. Sunday on NBC-Ch. 5).
In this new adventure, Steve Austin (Majors) renews his friendship with his son, Michael (Tom Schanley), who, like his father, was rebuilt bionically after a plane crash. Austin and Jaime Sommers (Wagner) reunite after a long separation to combine their bionic forces to battle a radical organization that intends to take over the U.S. by using Michael as a trump card. Martin Landau (”Mission Impossible”) guest-stars as the leader of the reactionary force.
