The Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University has been accredited by the Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communications (ACEMJC), the university announced.
The accreditation covers the undergraduate and graduate programs.
The graduate program had not been accredited since 1982, when the university withdrew its request for re-accreditation in a dispute with the ACEMJC.
