I`m compelled to write after reading articles about purchasing items made in the U.S.A. Many people have tried to sway us in our patriotism; however, we stood steadfast in the American dream.

We have purchased new American-made cars over the past 26 years. This past year we purchased another ”made in U.S.A.” car. At 2,500 miles we lost one transmission; 27,000 miles later, we had to replace it again–all factory defects. We also had to replace the wipers and antenna before 5,000 miles.

We as Americans are being ”forced” to buy foreign; it`s an embarrasment to the American people!
