I read the Tribune article about the Cultural Center`s attempt to get rid of the newsstand at Randolph Street and Michigan Avenue.
That newsstand has been there ever since I can remember. It is a landmark. I can`t imagine why the Cultural Center is trying to destroy it.
What on earth gives the Cultural Center the right to own the sidewalk? We have lost enough landmarks. Let the newsstand stay!
