Welcome home the conquering heroine! Marsha Warfield, the former South Sider who plays bailiff Roz Russell on NBC-TV`s ”Night Court,” will be back in town Friday and Saturday to crack them up at Zanies on Wells Street. Warfield, who went to Calumet High School, performed as a talent night comedian on a dare in 1974 at the now defunct Wells Street Pickle Barrel. After playing local nightclubs for three years, she went to L.A. and became a regular on Richard Pryor`s short-lived TV comedy series; won two nationally televised talent contests; appeared on David Letterman`s, Merv Griffin`s and Phil Donahue`s shows; and had parts in movies like ”D.C. Cab” and ”Gidget Goes to Harlem.” And now with ”Night Court” in reruns for the summer, Warfield has come home. (She`ll also do a stint Thursday through June 20 at Zanies Comedy Nite Club in Mt. Prospect.)
