Looking for some adventure, but want your comfort, too? Quetico Canoe Adventures has something for just about everyone–from two-day, three-night

”quick escapes” in the Minnesota-Ontario boundary waters area to trips where the itinerary planner will outfit you before you head for the wilds.

PORT IN PORTUGAL Here is a trip for lovers of port. A two-week wine tour of Portugal with visits to the cellars of port houses such as Taylor, Croft-Delaforce, Feirrara and Sandeman.

Canadian syndicated columnist Peter Ward will host the trip, Sept. 27-Oct. 10, to the famous shipping houses of Port and the Upper Douro.

Besides port, travelers will get a chance to taste the wines of the regions of Vinho Verde, Dao, Setubal, Lagoa and Colares.

The trip will start in Lisbon and travel by bus to the wine regions as well as the southern Algarve and Estoril areas of Portugal. Along the way, there will be time for sightseeing, shopping and beachcombing.
