Regarding the current situation of the Chicago Housing Authority:
We firmly support Mayor Harold Washington`s belief that our problems should and could be solved by the people of Chicago. We also think that an outside agency cannot be sensitive enough to the needs of our CHA residents, and therefore the City of Chicago must continue to assume the daily administration of the CHA.
