Bears coach Mike Ditka says he`s not optimistic about reaching an agreement with team President Michael McCaskey on a new contract.
In an interview with WBBM-TV, Ditka said he has made two proposals but has heard no response from McCaskey. ”I don`t expect to, either,” Ditka said. ”I keep hearing all the things about how much I`m wanted, but I`ve never been told that by anybody–not one person.”
