People who complain about their electric bills must surely be people who have never lived without electricity.
I grew up in rural Tennessee. What a difference it would have made for our family of seven if we could have had just one electric fan, or one electric light, or one refrigerator, or one radio.
I consider electricity to be the cheapest service our family buys, considering the benefits received. We spend far more over a year`s time on the car than we do for electricity, yet we value the electric service at many times that of the car.
Sure, I appreciate cheap electric rates, but would consider the service a real bargain at several times the current cost.
