A trade development program sponsored by the Chicago Department of Economic Development has resulted in $4 million in contracts for area companies with Southeast Asian nations. The city office said the results have led it to expand its program, to set up a third Southeast Asian trade mission in November. Twenty companies are helping to fund the program.
