Packaging Corp. of America, based in Evanston, acquired the food service foil and foil container operations of Kaiser Aluminum & Chemical Corp. The unit, which includes a 185,000-square-foot plant in Wanatah, Ind., and a specialty manufacturing facility in northwest suburban Bensenville, had sales last year of $60 million.
