Alberto-Culver Co. said it wants the same information from Minneapolis-based Lamaur Inc. being given to third parties. In a Securities and Exchange Commission filing, Alberto, a personal care products firm based in Melrose Park, said a refusal to give it the information unless it agrees not to make an acquisition proposal or acquire Lamaur stock is contrary to Minnesota law.
