Magna Group Inc. said it completed its mergers with First Granite Bancorp., Granite City, Ill., and Firstplace Financial Corp., Lincoln, Ill. Magna said it will pay 2.175 of its common shares for each share of First Granite common and $805.24 for each share of Firstplace Financial common.
