Services for Violet J. Johnson, 80, a retired South Shore real estate and insurance broker, will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday in Olympia Fields United Methodist Church, 20301 Western Ave., Olympia Fields. Mrs. Johnson, of Flossmoor, died Friday in Good Samaritan Hospital, Downers Grove. She and her late husband, John E., owned and operated the John E. Nelson real estate company for 45 years in the South Shore area. Survivors include a daughter, Karen Piggott; two sons, John ”Jack” and James; and four grandchildren.
