Mass for Jerrie M. Cloon, a former singer with the Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra, will be said at 10 a.m. Thursday in Holy Name Cathedral, State and Superior Streets. Mrs. Cloon, a Near North Side resident, died Monday in Illinois Masonic Hospital. As a singer for Jimmy Dorsey in the 1940s, Mrs. Cloon appeared with his orchestra at the Palmer House, the Chez Paree and other night spots. Later, she spent 21 years working at Marshall Field & Co. stores as a representative of Alexandra DeMarkoff cosmetics. She also was president for two years of the Illinois Cosmeticians Association. Mrs. Cloon is survived by a sister, Jayne B. Buckingham.
