I don`t understand why anyone should be surprised by the professional football players` strike. After all, work stoppage in professional sports is nothing new.
Why, with the exception of Andre Dawson, Rick Sutcliffe and a few others, our Chicago Cubs basically have been on strike since the All-Star break.
