Andre Moore, the Denver Nuggets` second-round draft choice, won`t be playing with the Nuggets this season after all. Moore and his agent, George Andrews, talked to Nuggets vice president Pete Babcock on Sunday, and said the 6-foot-8-inch forward from Loyola of Chicago was ”going home” and probably would sign on with a European team. The Nuggets, who have to fulfill 11 guaranteed contracts, were prepared to guarantee Moore`s contract if he made the opening day roster. Andrews argued that if his client came to training camp, he was jeopardizing his chances of playing with a European team, because the European season already has started. Andrews argued at least a part of the contract should be guaranteed. ”What an opportunity he`s missed,” said Nuggets coach Doug Moe of Moore. ”He couldn`t have had it set up any better to make the team.”
