Landis & Gyr Inc., which agreed to buy suburban Skokie-based Mark Controls Corp. for $132.5 million, said holders of more than 93.3 percent of the shares outstanding tendered their shares by a midnight Friday deadline. Mark Controls previously spun off to shareholders its flow-control business, a publicly held company called NewMark Illinois Corp.
