On TV, Bear Dan Hampton was asked if the strikers would deliberately try to punish nonstrikers after settlement. He answered evasively in a sarcastic manner but made it clear that they would indeed try to harm them, especially Dallas Cowboy Danny White.

We grant that football is rough; now Hampton also tells us that the strikers will try to make it more violent than it needs to be.

This is no surprise: The whole history of labor union strikes is to use the threat of violence and/or violence to intimidate all other people.
