For Paul Petersen, who made his daytime television debut Oct. 21 in the role of mystery man Carruthers on ”General Hospital” (2 p.m. weekdays on ABC-Ch. 7), coming to work at the ”GH” studio was like coming home.
Petersen portrayed Jeff Stone on ”The Donna Reed Show” from 1958-66.
”`The Donna Reed Show` was shot on this same lot when it was known as Columbia Studios,” he said. ”The `GH` production building was the old studio`s photo gallery where all of us posed for publicity stills.”
Although Petersen doesn`t have a long-term story line, he`ll be featured on ”GH” for several weeks.
